First Class Sales LLC
Door to Door, Salesman of Children's Books, Steals Cash upfront with promises of it being a Charitable Donation, Arizona 85080

Miscellaneous

Does door to door book and magazine sales. Placed order with a young college aged white female, thin, bad skin, pulled back hair with a hairband, very hyper and fast talking on 1/23. She came to my door selling books. She explained the program about getting points and awards for sales to help some underprivleged kids go on a trips. She said she lived two street over and and was visting her parents from college. She said the UCLA was using this company as their fundraiser. She claimed it could be a charitable deduction.

I made a purchase but she insisted that she wanted cash and not a check. After I looked at the receipt after he left, there was no contact info and no phone #. I looked them up online and there was no webpage on www.salesfirstclass.com. Nothing on the reciept stated that it could be used as a charitable deduction or that it was a not for profit company.

I am sure I am not going to receive any books from this person. She went on and on how this could be a charitable deduction (even though the purchase was for my kids and not for a school for speical needs children). She went very fast. I was from out of town and just moved to the area. I went to the police but they said there was nothing I could do because it was a civil matter and that they had busted 15 of these same scam artists just a week earlier and that he managed to see their van out today again afer they got it out of impound. The cops also said that the porsecutors were under budget and that with all the other crimes non of them wanted to prosecute these small time con artists.

I'm sure I'm out the cash but I can't stand con artists using special needs and disadvataged children as a selling point.
