IKobo Money Transfer Service
Ikobo has become a big rip off!

I have used Ikobo for a few years now. It used to be a good way to transfer money to someone on a ATM card that Ikobo sends to your recipient. Well that has all changed. Around 1 yr ago, a new company has taken over Ikobo and it had gone down hill ever since. I just sent someone a money transfer, and she was only able to get a small amount of that transfer out of the ATM machine. I called ikobo customer service and they told me she already had a negative balance of $45. This is a prepaid credit card, so it is impossible to have a negative balance. I asked my girl friend is she had ever used her card other then at a ATM and she said she did not. I told ikobo that I wanted my money back that I had just transfered to the card minus the small amount that my girl friend was able to get out of the ATM machine. The rep told me that I needed to email ikobo requesting that because they dont take those request over the phone. Ikobo has just become a big rip off and now stealing people's money. For now on I will just use one of the many prepaid credit cards that you can find at any Walgreen or Right aid and it only cost $4.95 to add money to it as opposed to Ikobo's higher fees. So read the other reports on here about this company and never use there service. I will update this post after I get my refund, if that even happens at all.
