CertaPo Sucks - painting exterio

I thought I hired a pro! Owner had a great personality and made me feel that he was going to go the extra mile for me. Presented a very detailed proposal so I had confidence that these were the guys to hire. Talk is cheap! What I got was a 180 from what I was promised. Prep was minimal and ignored in most places. What was not done:
Re-glaze or make window glazing smoothed. Remove and/or smooth texture on soffets.
Scrap and sand wood siding until smooth.
What I got was: They painted over the old texture. Whatever scraping sanding was done was more like scratching and touching. Almost all of my windows have the original cracked glazing painted over.
A few places were re-glazed but looks like they used their fingers to apply the glaze.
The wood siding in the front of the house was badly pealing and a lot of the wood was exposed. They scraped the loose paint, left the old paint and painted over so you can see many hard edges from the old paint and wood.
Also they patched some stucco but all they did was texture the surface and did not float the stucco so it could evenly match with the rest of the house.
The painting of the stucco was fine but that is hard to mess-up. They replace the all of the faca boards and that was done correctly.

When I complained to the owner, he became very defensive and we got into a shouting match. He had an excuse for everything even though in his proposal he claimed he could do what now he claims can’t be done or this is way it is suppose be done the way his so called “crew” did it (by the way, crew hardly speaks English. Illegals? I picked some new paint where the prep was not done off with my fingernail. He replied, "Your gonna get that with a brand new car also." This guy is too much and for everything I pointed out as problem he would answer back with a similar comment! BS to the max!
Lucky for me, I have not signed a contract or paid him a penny. What CertaPro should have done is this: If they could not do the job as detailed in their proposal, then they should have notified me so I could find a painter who could. And that I have found. But because all the wood that need to be properly prep has 1 coat of primer and 2 coats paint it will 3 time the job now to have this job done correctly.
My advice: tell your painter to not paint until you approve of the prep work. Something I could not do at the time because was down with a cold and I live 50 miles from my house CertaPro was painting.
I have complained to Service Magic so we will see what come of this.
