Angelo's Carpet & Upholstery cleaning Custom Furniture destroyed

I invested in custom upholstered furniture. Although, the furniture was only 3 years old I wanted to keep it nice and had heard it was a good idea to regularly clean good upholstery and draperies. I called a local company, Angelo's carpet and upholstery cleaning. They told me they came highly recommended by the drapery company in Phoenixville, as well as other clients. They sent a technician to my home. He did not vent my home as he was instructed. He applied cleaning fluid to my custom upstered chairs, sofa and draperies. He applied so much fluid it saturated the chairs and stained the upholstery. I immediately contacted the company. The owner's son returned my call later that evening. He came and looked at my furniture the next day. He agreed it was stained and asked if he could take a cushion back to his shop and see what he could do. I agreed. The next day he came back and said he would have to steam clean the furniture. Which, he did. He never read the label on my furmiture stating that it was not to be steam cleaned. So now not only did I have stains and a sticky residue on the fabric, the fabric was stretched in some places and shrunk in others. It was horrendous. 3 days before a large Christmas open house. I had to cover my beautiful furniture with towels as I was afraid they could possibly stain my guests clothes. I wrote to the manufacturer of my furniture, They requested a cushion cover. They declared my fabric and furniture destroyed. The fabric had been discontinued. I used the fabric in my draperies to match my furniture. A nightmare! Angelo's answer to this was.."See you in COURT" I have heard many horror stories about them since this happened to me. Wish I had heard them prior to using them! I would not let them clean a litterbox!!
