"Sales Promotion" with Cashback rebate

In 2006 I purchased a sewing machine for 7299.00. The sales promotion was if the receipt and all proper paper work was saved & sent to Cashback America in 3 yrs there would be a 3000.00 rebate. This all done in the appropriate time and sent certified mail. It was returned undeliverable. When contacting Country Stitches their comment was that cashback america has now skippped out and there is nothing Country Stitches can do about it even tho it was a "sales promotion". They paid Cashback America a lot of money. Well, their customers is out a lot of money also.

How can Country Stitches sell high-end machines and deny any responsibilty to their customers. I feel I am out $ 3000.00 and they could care less. Their comment was that "You got a wonderful machine."
