Allen Cowling ripped me off $5000

I hired Allen Cowling of Cowling Investigations, Inc. To do an investigative job for me. I felt with all the information I researched on the internet I was dealing with a reputable and honest business man. I met with him one time to discuss the situation and felt comfortable giving him the $5000.00 he required to proceed with the investigation. I did not recieve any information from him regarding this investigation for the entire 5 months. I finally recieved a report after the request was made from my attorney. The report consisted of all the information I had given him on the first day we met and any information I had obtained throughout the so called investigation. I was charged almost $50 for every call I made to his office giving him information that would have helped him with the investigation. I was even charged if they were returning my call and I didn't answer. This is a rip off in itself. Five months later and no information from him, he is stating he has ran out of money and if I want him to continue it will cost me more. FOR WHAT??? The investigation that I did.
Don't be a victim of this company. I have now made a complaint with the BBB and am in the process of filing a suit. Allen Cowling scammed me out of $5000 and I want people to be aware of his unethical practice. Don't trust everything you read on his websites.
