VIZIO Television
Warranty problems on new Vizios purchased from Liquidation.com

Miscellaneous

I bought a new Vizio 55" LCD television ffor $826.00 from Liquidation.com on 11/27 the listing showed the the television worked and had a picture. It was made in March thats the date on it. After 2 hours of watching it the screen went gray, so I called Vizio for Warranty repairs. I was told that the warranty was not good because I did not get this from an authorized dealer. Here is how i believe that Vizio can get away from honoring thier warrantys they sell these to Wal=Mart and if people have problems with them they return them to Wal-Mart for a refund or another one., then Wal-Mart sells them through Liquidation.com to recover the costs of what they paid. Wal-Mart is out no money and Vizio gets away with not honoring thier Warranty's. This TV is not even 8 months old. Vizio I believe knows that there are problems with this model and this is thier way out of covering it. They get paid from Wal-Mart and Wal-Mart gets thier money back and the consumers are the ones getting ripped of. Liquidation.com sells about 50 to 100 of these televisions every day so I am sure that others have had the same problems as I am having. I think that Vizio should have to to honor thier products anyone else have the same problems as me.
