Bullying, victimisation, dishonesty, ineptitude, unhelpful, undemocratic

LIONS INTERNATIONAL unintentionally supports bullying, victimization, and unethical behaviour within many of its clubs throughout the world. Its lack of oversight and failure to support the victims of bullying within clubs means that potentially valuable volunteers leave community service groups for good. Basically, all clubs are entirely autonomous, and the Grand Poohbahs such as District Governors and Zone Chairmen are so much tinsels and merit badges. This means that as long as Clubs pay lip service to their constitutions (some being totally undemocratic) and pay their levies, no one will ever come to the aid of the beleaguered.

In fairness, membership in a Lions Club can be very rewarding, but if you are a transferee from one civilized community and club to a backwater, in-bred community and club, youd better watch, because no one in authority is going to come and rescue you.

LIONS INTERNATIONAL HEADQUARTERS, their rules & regulations are a bad joke.

Further to my previous report, I want to advise readers that Lions Headquarters rubberstamped the infamous and dishonest behaviour of a club and the District Governor. One expects ignorant, unethical behaviour from local yahoos, but to have it rubberstamped by Headquarters is too much.
