I became a member of Columbia House DVD Club AND of Doubleday Book Club because of a pop-up ad from YourGiftCards.com for $50. For a Red Lobster dinner.
I have been trying and trying to reach them (YourGiftCards.com), but I can't even find an email address to use to correspond with them.
I never would have entered these clubs had it not been for the incentive of the $50.gift card.
And if I am getting no gift card but have joined these clubs, then it stands to reason that the clubs are in on it, too, or YourGiftCards.com would not benefit from it. I have received what I ordered from the clubs, but they must be reimbursing the gift card company somehow for bringing in the business.
Isn't there something legal that can be done?
