Told no contract and local channels but got neither

Direct TV has lied, committed fraud from day one with us. We were told we could get local channels and no contract. After hook up we were told we had a 2 year contract and no local channels. We could get the major channels at $3.50 per month per channel. These channels are New York, and LA. We live in Texas! And cannot get NBC. I called to drop the premium channels, the next month they were not dropped and we received a $36 charge. I called and they stated "the last call was dropped". It was not dropped! It will cost us $300.00 to get out of this contract. You call that Customer Service. I think not.
