Knownly sold me a possible defective pistol

Miscellaneous

They knownly sold me a pistol that could backfire and injure the shooter or even worse, kill the shooter. The gun in question is a Jimenez JA9 semi automatic pistol, the company is called Shoot Straight and they have 3 stores in Florida. When I called and talked to the manager in Tampa, he told me they would give me 50 dollars in trade for another pistol. When I told him that this gun has a possibility of coming apart when being shot he did not deny it could happen. I then asked him what would happen with the gun and he said it would not be resold. I feel they should credit my purchase price towards another pistol and I would pay the difference. They flat refused me. They being the manager of the Tampa store (Steve) and the store in Apopka (Brad).
