Misrepresentation of charges

My mother was the Power of attorney for my late brother and handled all of his finances. Pavillions at Forrestal sent to collection an outstanding balance for $1249.22 indicating payment was not made. My mother is 84 asked me to follow up. When i did I requested a detailed itemized bill so that I could check what payments my mother had on record as paying. The facility did not send me an itemized bill but just a statement with the payments made.in order to resolve the discrepancy an detailed itemized bill is needed. The billing department has changed hands nuerous occasisions and unofficial word was that the former finance officer, Robin left the United States taking with her a large sum of patires insurance payments and other payments. This should be looked into, but most of all I think the facility is trying to recoop monies that was taken by this individual.
