Wrong Late Payment Report Blocks Loan for a Home

The staff here are the most discourteous people I have ever had to work with. They insisted I had fallen behind on payments, which was false, and they reported it on my credit, which created a serious mess. They refuse to take the incorrect information off my credit report, so now I cannot get a loan to buy a home. I do not know what to do now.
