Jeffrey Carrasco presented himself as a real estate investor. Promised to do work on property as sweat equity toward purchase of real property. Wanted proof of good faith - ie executed deeds to be held in escrow by atty for one year pending completion of work to be provided as set out in detailed performance contract.
He took physical possession of property. Kicked off manager, collected rents, terrorized tenants who left. Put in criminals as tenants who paid him only and forced us into foreclosure. Stole the refrigerators and air conditioners. With the collected rents, bought his drug using wife/girlfriend a new white car. Stole furniture and a valuable bronze statue.
Recorded stolen executed deeds. Broke into property management office of unrelated property and represented himself as new owner. Threatened physical harm to tenants. Stole mail intended for real owners and property manager.
He is psychologically and physically dangerous. Be warned. Be very cautious. He comes off as a really nice guy and then will destroy you. He did me after telling me in no uncertain terms that I would probably get my properties back through the legal system someday, but not before he financially destroyed me. I had to have the City of Daytona condemn my property to legally protect myself from this persons escapades. I hope this helps someone in the future.
