Oven Broiler element caught fire

Our Kenmore electric array found fire while broiling a meat. The broiler element turned white-hot and extended to burn after energy was turn off. Fire Department named. The component smashed into bright hot flaming pieces and dropped towards the base of the around where it extended to burn white-hot. I bought the stove fresh about 5-6 years back.

Sears site customer support doesn't manage this kind of criticism. Telephone numbers are for support or shipping only. I can't cope with to somebody who can help me.
