Inferior Hotpoint Range - Hotpoint Range

Purchased a Hotpoint range in 2008 because it was rated #1 by Consumer Reports-Are they also being bought off? Soon after purchase the grates started chipping (they are coated with gray enamel) why are they coated they should be wrought iron!!! I called to request a second set of grates in black (at least you wouldn't notice the inferier workmanship, they sent me GRAY! I called to again request black (a simple solution to the problem said they would send never did. Called again spoke to Stanley who advised me that this request could only be agreed to if I paid for the grated myself!!!
Your product was not fairly tested by Consumers.
The oven temperture is off, low, by 25 to 50 degrees, was told I'd have to pay to have this corrected.
Result-no more american made products for me ever!!!
