Ready to make some money, Buddy?

So I'm sitting working on my computer and I get a call from "Robert" representing I CARE TIME SHARE MARKETING CO. I am interested in selling my timeshare so I listen to his spiel. I filled out a questionaire on-line (he says) where I stated my desire to sell or rent. We start talking prices and he says I have a very valuable unit, a 2 bedroom lock off in Aruba, and that he has an immediate buyer. He asks me how much I paid and I tell him. He shoots back with an amount $3,000 more than what I paid and said we can close immediately. I ask what are your fees. He says only one - $688.00 and the buyer pays all the closing costs. I say great. He says "Ready to make some money Buddy?". And he starts to make preparations to put me in touch with the company legal department and says very earnestly that when I get the documents please dont cut his legs out from under him and sit on the papers for a few days... They have got to be faxed back right away. He says again "ok, ready to make some money buddy?". I say yeah, sure. He says now the only thing is how are you going to take care of the $688 fee, Master, Visa, or what? I say oh no the fee will be paid at the closing which will be done in person not by mail. He says, no it has to be paid up front. I say listen, I don't know you, this is just a phone call out the blue. If this is the gist of your call to get my credit card number then there is no need to talk any more. He says OK and hangs up.
This guy was smooth, real smooth. I kind of suspected it was a scam and went along with his spiel to see where the scam would set up. I wish it was that easy to sell a timeshare! Companies like this that prey on people's duplistic nature of greed and not wanting to be rude to strangers really get my blood to boil.
If anybody out there hears from these guys please beware. They are not reputable and you will have to fight to get your money back.
