Goodwin & Associates Hospitality Services, LLC Mystery Shopping
Scammed by Mystery shopping Company

Miscellaneous

I have done several mystery shops with no complaint, until this one! I answered an ad for a Mystery Shopper to critique a local eating establishment called Bice but under new ownership being called quattrocento.in this shop I was told I needed to order 2 appetizers, 2 cocktails, 2 entrees and 2 desserts. I was led to believe I would be reimbursed, and in addition paid $55.00 for my time. So I invited a friend to join me. The bill came to a whopping $115.00 including tip. This shop was completed on June 5. I anticipated 4 - 6 weeks for payment and was willing to wait for that. When I did not have the money by the beginning of August I emailed Eric, who passed the info onto Nicole. It was at this time I was informed they do not reimburse for the meal and that in another 4-6 weeks I would recieve my payment. Ok so here we are over 6 weeks later and STILL no money!!! Avoid this scam!!! Not sure if it is a way for the owners of the restaurant to fill the joint or for the owners of Goodwin & Associates to keep the funds they are being reimbursed! Anyway, I can get no answers and no solutions so this is the best alternative!!!
