Deceptive company - They said they would install 12 warranteed waterheater, but actual waterheater only had 6 year manufactures warrantee

Before I called Just Water Heaters, I researched the price and quality of several different brands of water heaters. Most manufactures had a family of residential water heaters ranging from their low-end, low priced, 6-year warranteed water heater to their high-end, more expensive 12-year warranteed water heaters. Just Water Heaters quoted me a price to install a 12-year warranteed water heater.

Their work order stated 12-year warrantee. But they installed an A.O. Smith water heater than came with a 6-year manufacturer's warrantee. I called "Fred" at Just Water Heaters and told him his company installed a low-end 6-year warranteed water heater when I specifically asked him for a 12-year warranteed water heater and the work order specified a 12-year warranteed water heater. Fred responded that since the work order said 12-year warrantee that his company would warrantee the water heater (not installation) for the additional 6 years. Whether Just Water Heater's warrantee is worth anything, I don't know.

But the fact is, they installed a lower priced water heater when I contracted for a higher priced water heater. The only thing I have to validate that Just Water Heaters is warranteeing the water heater for 12 years is that the work order says "12 year warrantee." Also of interest, on the back of the work order, in the fine print, it says that "under no cercumstances will Just Water Heaters warrantee extend beyond that offered by the manufacturer. Which in my case is just 6 years. I suspect that this company uses this deceptive practice a lot and somebody ought to take them to task for this.
