US Timeshare Marketing
Unknown Bolfaced lies about terms. Took my $895 with no contract, then said they called me with offers but i never sent in contract giving them authorizaion to do so. Called me stupid to believe their terms!

I was contacted in 1/09 by U.S. Timeshare management with an offer to sell my beach front timeshare. I was promised by sales person (Joe Anthony) that if I gave his company 60 days instead of 45 to sell my property they would send $2500.00 worth of redeemable air fare cards that I could take to any of 5 different airlines and get full remaining refund after they took their cut (aprox. 20%). They would also lower their marketing fee to only $895.00 from $1295.00.

The last line on the contract they sent me said that I didn't have to pay any fee until contract was signed. I never signed or sent in the contract and when I called within the 3 day cancellation period once I realized they had charged my acct. With no signed contract, they said it was too late to get my $ back.

I pursued them for months and finally the Customer Service Supervisor, Harry Garcia 1 (800) 489-2444 told me that I would be refunded the full amount. When that did not happen I called again and the General Manager, Stephen Coakley said he called with offers and I didn't call back (lies) and when I told him that I never signed a contract so he had no legal right to solicit offers without my written permissionand keep my money, he verbally insulted me by calling me stupid for believing their original written terms (that he and Harry Garcia had personally signed)?

I told him that Harry Garcia said they would refund my money and he said that he was Harry's boss and he never got 'his' permission to do so. After much verbal discussion and threats to go to Attny. Generals office and Dept. Of Agriculture, he said he would refund 1/2 of my money. Never happened. Now they no longer can be reached at the phone numbers listed on all their paperwork.
