Don't waste your time with this bait and switch

Young lady from "Foundation Marketing" called me to say they were interested in me for a marketing management position in El Segundo, CA. Same old schtick - lets interview immediately, get you to "shadow" a current manager and then training for two weeks. I asked what I would actually be doing she said "business to business sales in Home Depot stores". I then asked "so I will not be soliciting any innocent individuals in the parking lot?" She promptly hung up on me.
What gets me is that door-to-door becomes "face to face" in job ads, "B2B" in the interview actually means public solicitation for a measly comission based pay. Further, these guys constantly bait and switch not only job descriptions but their whole identity, company name, internet domain, etc. Lastly, careerbuilder enables their deceitfulness because they do write "rookie" and "entry level" in the ads. Careerbuilder needs to be legally required to answer their own questionable ads, send someone out to "train" and then require employers to use the words door-to-door and solicitation when that is what is involved. "Rookie" doesn't mean a thing when a week after applying some girl calls you with Marketing Manager schtick! Don't waste your time if you get called by anyone telling you they will interview you immediately when they have no idea who they are calling, why they are interested in you, or what exactly in plain english you will be doing. Rookie means waste of your time unless someone actually says you will be putting out real fires or wearing a uniform with a badge.
