Don't use! - Fraud / Bait and Switch

I was with DirectTv for years. I always thanked them for being American and for being so wonderful, etc. Then we lost money and therefore gave up TV among other things. I advised my dad to use them b/c I was so happy with them. Little did I know in those short 6 months btn my use and his that they now outsource. Now, I have nothing against these people that are taking our jobs away, but I do have a problem with the company for doing it. And I also have a problem with the bill being double every month and me having to call every month and tell them to fix it. Unfortunately, due to their short experience, they are rude and have no idea how to help you, not to mention they are often hard to understand b/c they have such thick accents. My advice, do what we do, buy a $10 antenna (converter if you need it), and buy whatever shows on DVD you're unable to get on local channels. You'd be surprised how little you watch TV after that. Also, go with the actual TIVO (you don't have to have a provider), learn how to use your computer to do it, use hulu, or remember how to program your VCR!
