Serious Construction Flaws: 140 Warsteiner Way, Melbourne Beach, FL

For 29 months, since closing on our unit, we have written exhaustively, met with the developer, the Brevard County Commissioner, the county attorney, the Brevard County Building Inspection Dept. And with the builder, Mike Fisher of PAVCO.

The topic of those meetings was to discover why PAVCO abandoned this seriously flawed building to move on to complete buildings 2 and 3 in this flawed project while leaving our building looking like a subsidized tenement.

Our parking garage was left by the contractor with stains and concrete spillage, while the walls are constructed of porous concrete blocks that needed a coating of stucco to cover up all the gouges and other related flaws.

The stairwells are in the same condition as the garage.

Slider doors were installed that leak.

Before the slab for this building was poured a moisture barrier wasn't used. We believe this to be the reason this building is infected with black mold that has proven to be toxic.

Elevators break down on a consistent bi-weekly basis.

Rooms adjacent to the lobby have never been completed. No paint, no stucco just gouged drywall and gouged concrete.

Landscaping is a disgrace.

The builder abandoned this building and has refused to revisit and correct the glaring problems that have infected this building.

Our patience is completely exhausted.
