Parks Suzuki
Ripoff tricked and lied to us

Miscellaneous

On Saturday June 7, I went to Parks Suzuki in High Point looking at Used Chevrolet Trackers. I was told they had some available (which they did). The salesman convinced me that I would be better off getting a 2003 Suzuki Vitara which has a $2000.00 rebate. I was allowed to test drive one. Upon arriving back, the salesman then told me they could probably get a Suzuki car instead. I told him that I do not like the looks of the cars. He told me that they would work with me.
On Tuesday, June 10, I was led to believe that I would be set to get a 2003 Suzuki Vitara. An appt. Was set up for me to come over this evening to pick up my new car. Upon arriving around 5:45 P.M. After working a 10 hour day, the salesman stated a problem had arisen. He then told me they could put me in a 2000 Cadillac Escalade with only 47,000 miles on it. I hate Cadaillacs which are gas hogs. I left and would not accept the vehicle. Keep in mind, I had not seen it; nothing had been mentioned about it during this process. Just because
I am a lady, car dealers like Parks think they can pawn off something on me which no one else will buy. I have been humiliated, not to mention embarrassed by this. I also thinnk it was strange that they would not tell me anything about ballpark figures of payment amounts. I was not given a phone call to let me know a problem had arisen. I was totally caught off guard by this event. If you want to get tricked and lied to go to Parks Suzuki. I told the salesman upfront that my credit had gotten messed up during a time when I was sick. He also knew upfront that I was still paying on my present car.
Interestingly enough, they have plastered on their window that they work with people who have credit blemishes. I guess those words are nothing more than a ploy to coax unsuspecting customers in.
