Sales Reps were bold faced liars!

People are defending this company but I have to say, the stories all sound exactly the same! Two young guys show up at my door mid-day, say they live down the street a little, mom walks her dog on our street and everything. They say they are college students raising money to go to London. They tried to pressure me into buying 2 magazine subscriptions for the troops in Iraq (as if I'd ever know if they got there) and when I balked they offered me a food/fuel visa card.

The rebate program looked annoying enough to be legitimate, so I wrote a check. I planned on looking up the company as soon as they left. After seeing all the remarks, I went to the house where they said they lived... No surprise that they didn't. I looked up the food/fuel card through the pamphlet they gave me... Didn't exist.

The amount he wrote on my reciept didn't add up. Anyway, I freaked and cancelled the check, cancelled with the company so they wouldn't try to cash it and get a returned check fee (I'm always considerate, even with crooks). However, I was wondering if I needed to change bank accounts. How crooked is this company? Time will tell. But the boys at my door were BOLD FACED LIARS... And really, really, really convincing.
