Customer service evaluator... Scam, ripoff Jerome, Quebec City, Canada3307 Northland Drive

This company sent us a check for $2,982.75 telling us that we were chosen to mystery shop and evaluate businesses. Basically we were to deposit the check, then wire money via western union and do a survey on our customer experience at western union. Also told to purchase goods at a major department store. We called the number on the letter, it was a cell phone in canada, gave the guy a good "ass chewing", because it was obvious this was a scam.

The check was drawn on a long island new york corporation "north shore sprinklers supply corp".. Looked legitimate, possibly stolen, and i contacted the company to let them know what had happened. Possibly the check was stolen.
