Credit card and bank fraud scam

Be very careful how and where you use your credit card or financial information (of course). There is a company out there whose name begins with cpi and is then coopted with something else - cpipay.com/wealthsys - like so. They put through charges to credit cards for amounts that can range from between 40.00 to over 100.00 depending on what your current limit may be. They also know how to use your credit card information to gain access to paypal or your bank account, and will steal from these as well. Check your credit cards and financial accounts for amounts credited to you from any companies beginning with cpi.

It may not be only Capital One credit cards that are being hit with this scam, I am not sure how they get bank and paypal info, and it could just be a flukey day for some lucky loser who works for the company, but watch for charges from your own institutions - the back of some capital one cards I have seen the letters cpi-co) so that may have something to do with it.
