Bad experience - DVD Buffy the Vampire

I sent $98 for a boxed dvd set for my daughter's birthday. My visa was charged promptly and I got a confirming status update that the item would be shipped and that I would get a tracking number. That was 6 weeks ago and despite emails requesting information, I've heard nothing. Wish I'd read this site before ordering. Live and learn. Isn't there any way to get the item requested?
