After buying that 42" flat screen what better than to get HD from Dish. Had the installer come out and put everything together. Not ever actually seeing a picture in HD, I thought the picture looked great. Eight months later my neighbor got the same Dish package, different flat screen. His picture blew me away. My picture was definitely not HD.

I called Dish and the installer and switched a cable in the back. WOW what a difference, my professional installer screwed up the connections and I had not been watching HD for 8 months but I had been paying for it and renting the HD box to boot. DISH said there was no way to prove it. I guess being first on the block comes with risks.

To make a long story short, DISH would not refund me the difference, I sucked it up and watched HD for 4 months, after the 12 month contract was up I cancelled Dish and went back to superior Cable. Oh yeah my neighbor cancelled Dish too for what they did to me, and now no one I know uses Dish. I hope you don't also.
