Wow, I pay again! California

I started my plan with Pre Paid Legal and then decided after reading on line how they are a scam I cancelled my plan. I figured that I paid 35.00 dollars so today I called to ask a legal question. Since they already had my cancellation on my account they would not even answer a question. I told them I paid 35.00 dollars already aren't I entilled to one question to be answered by one of your lawyers? The answer was no you have a cancellation on your acount, if you want a question answered you would have to clear the cancellation. I thought this was ridiculas since I already paid the one month fee, so basically I paid for nothing for the whole month!!! That is out of control. Since I had this conversation with Pre Paid Legal I will not use them as I can see they will not be there when you need them unless you pay more money.
