Ripped off by Dishonest Landlords

We were good tentants for the time we leased our aptment. (14months) All rent from day one was always paid on the first. After we purchased our home we gave more than the required time to informed them we were not renewing our lease. We than received a move out check list that had items on it that wasn't in our lease to be completed before our security deposit would be refunded. One was carpet cleaning.

This was not on our lease but we did it anyway because they were going to charge us 120.00. We paid 60.00 just to keep problems minimal. Clean all windows inside and outside was just another examble. The manager of the units and the cleaning lady was present when we turn the unit over and they bought agreed that the unit was just fine and that we shouldn't have any problems getting our refund back.

The patio was dirty from wear and tear of normal use and they charge us 275.00 to paint and the balance of the 400.00 was used for carpet damage which was caused by normal wear and being old. They are ripping off many tentants because the business is doing badly and theyare bad managers. The golf cource is taking a huge lose and it not fair what they did to us. I plan on taking them to court with several witnesses. Please help us out here.
