Scam Mystery Shopper Letter, typos, left lines off the "official" Company Evaluation Sheet

Received a letter and check stating I had been selected to be in a Paid Consumer Research Program in my area as a "Mystery Shopper". I would evaluate selected Merchants such as K Mart, Home Depot, Walmart for a pay of $489 a week... Names were given for future "Money Grams" I would have to send as part of the Mystery Shopper and my "efficiency in handling financials transactions and assignments". Stated had to spend $50 at two retail locations etc... What tipped me off is I had to call for Verifications Purposes... The Check sent had a generic Bank of the West and the Check had Norton Packageing which is a mispelling... And the check amount was a weird amount of $4,861.23.
