Reward Zone Program Mastercard
Charged an annual fee which I paid and won't activate my new card

I applied for the Reward Zone Progam Mastercard credit card back in May and never recieved the card. I called in June and they said it was sent back to them. They had sent it to my physical address instead of my mailing address. So when I called about the card I was told there was a charge of $88.00 on my account for an annual fee and a late fee. I told the person I never got the card or a statement, so I paid the annual fee immediately in good faith and they waivered the late fee. So when I finally get the card thru the mail. I called to activate it and I had to go thru a series of questions as the week before to get a new card. I know I answered each question correctly, but she told me that I got the answers wrong and my card can't be activated. I started asking questions, so she put me on hold for about 15 minutes and when she got back on the phone she told me that her supervisor or manger said I had to send a copy of my driver's license and a copy of 2 ultilites bills. Okay, I said" to myself. Something is fishy here. So I checked my credit report and no fraud on my report, But she made me feel like I was fraudulent on my own account. I will definitly call and cancel my account and will ask for my 59 dollars back, but I'm pretty sure I will get screwed out of my money. You know, I paid that annual fee with a check that had my name and address on it and I had to give them additional information and them wanting more info greatly bothers me. I feel I have been ripped-off. I shouldn't have to go thru more loop holes to get it activated. I'm very upset about this and I'll never deal with these people again.
