New Jersey Lottery, Reader's Digest, Publisher's Clearing House, Andrew Bell, Jennifer Morgan Rip Off Scam Operating out of Montreal, Quebec, Canada

Miscellaneous

My wife rec'd a $4,2500.00 check in the mail today from a company claiming to be associated with the New Jersey lottery. The letter claims the check is an "advance amount for processing insurance fees" associated with a $90,000.00 USD prize from a drawing held by the New Jersey Lottery from a database associated with Reader's Digest, Publishers' Clearing House, Computer Games and Sweepstakes database.

Of course this is all untrue. The scammers want you to rush out and cash the check, send them the "processing" money immediately and then you are left holding the bag when the check does not clear at your bank.

Do not be fooled by such shenanigans...
