Temp Agency misleading even deceptive caused problems with Unemployment Insurance

After losing my long term (16 yrs) steady job due to an economic layoff I attended a job fair where PA Staffing was recruiting. The first 4 months went good assignment wise. Then that assignment ended and they offered me another one that they said was temporary for about a week. It was at considerably lower pay then I was previously earning I agreed to take it ONLY on a short term basis. However when I showed up they claimed it was Temp to Hire. When I held them to their agreement that it was a short term assignment which I agreed to in a good faith from my part business negotation (or so I thought)

They then reported me to the State Unemployment Agency as quit although I never did actually quit, was never notified as being terminated and was willing to work acceptable assignments in the future.

This caused me to become inelgible for Unemployment benefits because (PA Staffing claimed "I quit" Although actually I just refused to work that assignment on their bait n switch tatics.

The end result is that I've faced finicial ruin due to no income for a considerable period of time in this slow job market.

IMO PA Staffing was misleading to the point of deceptive business practices. I felt their hardball playing the angles and exploiting the unemployment law to avoid possibly making some payment to my account in the future was ruthless business practices. I felt they didn't use proper business ethics and feel like I was totally exploited by them.
