United States Mint
This site sells coins that have no value other than the monetary amount on the coin and they sell them for a much larger amount

Miscellaneous

This company (our government?) sells "minted" coins at an inflated cost to the consumer. My mother recently fell in her house and I had to place her in an assited living facility as she can no longer take care of herself.

I had the dubious chore of cleaning out her house to prepare it for market.in looking through all of her "stuff" I found an amazing amount of these "proof sets" and "single" coins that she had purchased over many years.

When it came time to have these coins evaluated for their worth, I found out they were basically worthless. The only value they had was the value of the coin itself. Mom lost a lot of her money buying these things.

I consider that a Rip Off and want every one to know about it. Please don't waste your money with this.
