The USPS has managed to destroy another collectible record through mishandling or should I say package abuse. I won a 47 year old rare 45 record on ebay. I purchased insurance and the seller packed it securely. The word fragile was also written on the outside of the package. The record only had to come from PA to MA but in the process the USPS managed to whack the box so badly that it cracked the 45 in half. I swear there is some disgruntled employee that gets his/her kicks out of wacking packaged that say fragile on them. I went to file a claim before work today at 7:45 and was told I need to come back between 11 am and 4 pm to file a claim. How convenient. If people just took pride in their job and had some respect the world would be a much better place. Right now I'd like to "go postal" on a few postal workers.
