Received discounted promotional vacation package through mail, seen company was a ripoff so please beware!

I called to get more info on offer and I tried to call several times but could not get through when I finally got someone I listened to rep for about 30mins I was very excited until I checked out company and saw that they took another person's credit card and they were not able to get anyone on phone to book vacation and when they did get someone they wanted additional money,

When I brought it to the reps attention she put me on hold got her manager I tried to explain to him about what I found he got very upset and defensive and said I didn't want to do business, he called me rude but I just wanted him to explain before giving my credit card info because I didn't want the same thing to happen to me. Times are hard so I just want people to be aware because if it wasn't for the other person speaking out I would have given my credit card info as well.
