Poor customer service and company did not deliver what was promised

I bought a Cortex flat iron from this company after the employee explained how great it was. It was supposed to be much better than the CHI iron, easy to use, never burn your hair, and so on. The woman told me I had a 2 year warranty to return the product as many times as needed for a full exchange. No one ever told me I could not get a refund.

After using the product once, the next day I had so many damaged/broken hairs & now my hair is super dry! 2 months later, I'm still dealing with damaged hair & my hair has always looked healthy & shiny. The product did not deliver as promised and I do not wish to exchange it for the very same thing, I would like a full refund!

After multiple attempts to speak with the owner, he never returned my calls. I called on days he worked and the employee said he was too busy to talk to me. I did speak with the general manager & he was uncooperative in providing any refund and stated their policy was no refunds; didnt I see the sign by the register? I told him no, the employee was too busy selling me a case for the iron while I was at the register.

This is very poor customer service because the business does not stand behind their product. If they did, they would offer a refund policy. I got ripped off because I paid way too much, for not only one, but two of these flat irons (I bought one for my sister). Now, I'm stuck with 2 flat irons, $200 later, and can't use either of them. They are no good to me & the company just wants your money. They do not care about service or your happiness.
