No integrity break it car repair

I went in for a thermostat. It took 2 hours to replace it. Now when my car went in, it was blowing cold air and had no problems what so ever. I had the car for 3 years and it has always, always been reliable. When they finished putting in thermostat, I got in my car and noticed immediately the AC was not working, and the car shut off. I didn't even make it out of their parking lot when it started acting up. I took it back and he refused to even take me seriously. He went on the defensive and said he didn't do anything to my car. I told him I understood things happen and I was not looking to blame anyone, and I didn't care who did what, just fix the problem, thats all I wanted. Well he refused to listen to what I had to say. To make a long story short, he had some young kid work on my car, then screwed it up accidentally, and then refused to take responsibility for what had taken place in his business. I got a second opinion from a second auto repair and found out indeed what they did could have very well caused my problems. I am in the process of filing a law suit and I have told everyone at work about his repair service and they all immediately said, "who is this man, I don't want to go there then". This is a BAD, BAD place to take your car for repair. He has no integrity and will not stand behind what goes wrong in the process
