I paid for two plane tickets to China and I got one

We paid 700 dollars each for tickets to China.instead we got an adult seat and an infant seat. Which implies that the other person would have to sit on the other person's lap. So we had to pay for another ticket on the spot $2000.

Even with the charge this is not logical because infants are free for domestic flights. They've also had numerous prior issues that I've found online. But my dad ordered these tickets and it's too late.

The problem is not the money itself. Rather, we paid for two tickets and got one. IT'S A SCAM and INTENTIONAL.

They have been no help, avoiding the situation and essentially riping us off.

We have checked other tickets online on NorthWest at the time and they averaged 800-900 so 700 did not seem so outrageous. But what ended up happening is we paid for 1400 for one ticket. And an extra 2000 last minute ticket.

I'm in the process of trying to get that money back. However, seeing other people's comments on this place, I'm doubtful I'll be successful.
