False door to door advertising

Two representatives came to my door to sell me direct tv via consolidated smart systems, for $34.99 movie channel addition $39.99 for 12months guranteed. I asked were they sure this price would remain the same and there was no gimmick or anything I as a consumer had to do. They stated no this was a special for your apartment complex "garden Place apartments for this month only. They told me to call direct tv and give them my verbal okay by phone while they were still present.

I called direct tv, and I had to pay 30.00 via credit card over the phone for deposit, and they aslo assured me this ws correct. Today May 22 I came home my cable was disconnected, I called Direct tv they said my bill was paid on their side and I needed to call consolidated regarding the disconnect @1-866-954-3434, I called and spoke to a guy named matt, Id#22739 who was very rude and refused to let me speak to a supervisor stated he would take a message.

During the conversation he advised me $166.89 was due now, or the service will remain disconnected, I advised Matt of the sale price, he stated oh, you werent told it was the price only after two mail in rebates, I advised him, I was not advisd this by the two salesman, who apparently just said whatever to get the sale. He then said well this is what you owe, and we will ask them if they advised you of this when we investigate, in the meantime your service will remain off unitil you pay $166.89. I am outraged, please help.
