Carl polchan-scammer, liar, horrible businessman, owes all employees and vendors thousands of dollars!

Carl Polchan offered me a job in September. He wrote an offer letter for more than I was making at the time and made the job sound really good. He cleverly worded the letter, however, and after more careful review it was clear that I was not going to make the kind of money that I was led to believe I would make. It was all dependent on the hours that I worked.

At the beginning, it was fine, then, slowly, I started seeing that the hours were dwindling, as was my paycheck. Then, Carl starts telling people on a regular basis that their paychecks will be "delayed". It started with a day or two, then went to a week or more. Then, they stopped altogether.

He kept giving excuses, and telling his employees that he was trying to get money from banks to cover his payroll, (who tells their employees that?) and at the same time, the companies that he owes money to are not getting paid either.

Then, he writes checks to SOME employees, THAT BOUNCE, and it took almost two weeks to make them right.

He has a meeting with his employees where he tells them that he is closing the doors of his shop and the reason is because so many people were filing unemployment "behind his back".

At the same time, his wife is telling people that things are hard for them, too, "Carl has stopped eating steak. He only eats chicken now". I guess that was them "suffering", meanwhile, there is no toilet paper in the office, but Carl comes in with 6 boxes of donuts from Kroger!!! ($5/each)

At this point, he owes me personally over $3000 and has messed up my credit with late payments to my apartment. I am in the process of trying to figure out what to do since my wife is not working either and we have 2 children to take care of.

This guy took the cowards way out and has screwed everyone out of their money!!! (including other companies) He has got to pay for this!!! He should be doing a lot more than giving up steak! Then to find out this is not the first failed business he has had! This is ridiculous! Someone HELP please.
