Runaway Bridal Preservation Business in Vegas: Took the Money and Ran

Flamingo Las Vegas referred me to a bridal bouquet preservation business, Memories Kept, on May 10. On Friday, June 6, a young 20 something white male came to the reception at the Flamingo as scheduled and picked up one bridal bouquet, one boutonniere, and one bridesmaid bouquet.

I was on the website at www.memorieskept.net several times throughout summer 2008 to select frames and background colors.in August I was on the phone with the owner while surfing the website as I deliberated with him over my final selections. On September 2, over the phone, I paid $882.85 (as shown on my credit card statement) for frames, backgrounds and shipping.

Previous experience with flower bouquet preservation showed me that it can take 4 to 6 months before the final product becomes available.in February I called to check the status. The phone number was no longer in service. I called the Flamingo to cross check that I had the right telephone number. I had the right phone number. The number was simply longer in service and there was no forwarding telephone number.

On February 18, I called the Flamingo to inform them that the business disappeared. Flamingo Las Vegas referred me to the following news website: http://www.ktnv.com/global/category.Asp? C=81457. My own internet research led me to a " Memories Kept" myspace page: www.myspace.com/160717015, with the member's last login date of 7/9. The myspace page identifies the member as a 25 Y/o male. I sent a message in February and have never received a reply.

I just want my $882.85 back.
