I received a phone call today from Norman Armstrong from the FTC telling me I had won a substantial amount of money from the Las Vegas Dream Foundation. He said they tried to contact me by mail several times with no response. All I had to do was call a Bonded Trust Lawyer in Jacksonville, FL, pay a small insurance and delivery fee, and Mr. Steven Weber would get the paperwork rolling; the check would be delivered to me tomorrow. He even warned me about similar scams from Jamaica and England. He was adamant about saying that no one would try to scam me out of only $300.

I called the lawyer and he gave me different information that "Norman, " so I went to the FTC website and searched for "Norman." I found his name, called him back and asked him what the director of the FTC's name is... He couldn't tell me. I searched for the lawyer in Florida, found his name (Steven Weber) but "he" was ineligle to practice law in Florida. So I called him too... He left me on hold until I finally gave up.

Even after telling both of them that their scam was transparent, they still were insisting that they were real people and weren't trying to scam me. "Norman" even told me to call the FBI and have them call him to prove he wasn't lying.

The number for Mr. Armstrong is 202-747-0035; Steven Weber is 904-677-8573. They were both quite convincing because when you do a reverse look-up of the phone numbers, they are landlines in D.C. And FL, respectively.

Finally, I've gotten alot of these kinds of calls lately, from different companies, all of them telling me that I filled out some survey or whatever months ago... I usually remember filling out surveys, as do most people when told what the survey was. If you don't remember anything about a survey, follow your gut and tell them no.
