Ear piercing loud

I had an entire suite of hardwood floors and decided the best way to keep them clean would be to get a hardwood floor vaccuum. I got the dirt devil vaccuum because it was affordable. But whenI used my ears were ringing from the high pitched sound. Too loud to be safe. Not worth the money.
