AAA Cooling Specialist
Charged $75 just for estimate, then refused to perform work!

The president of the AAA Cooling Specialist, Kurt Robert came by my business to look at the cooling unit on the commercial building that I rent for my body shop. This occured in April in Phoenix Arizona.

After reviewing my coolling unit Mr. Robert informed me that I needed some parts and a wire run, but that he would have to write a formal estimate and return it to me at a later time. He demanded $75.00 for evaluating the cooling unit and for this estimate that I would receive at a later time.

When I did recieve the estimate I was a little surprised that it was over $500.00, as I simply needed a new thermostat and a wire run to the unit. I told him that I considered this to be high, but that I may be calling him back.

I then proceeded to purchased all of the parts noted on his estimate. I ran the new wire needed from the thermostat to the unit by myself far quicker than the 2 guys 3 hours he quoted me on the estimate.

I then called Kurt Robert at AAA Cooling Specialist in Phoenix Arizona, back to inform him that I had purchased all of the parts listed and installed the wire myself. I then asked what he would charged to come out and complete the actual electrical work, as I figured this should be left for the professional.

I was more than shocked to find out that the price for Kurt Robert to complete the job was still the same, regardless of the fact that the parts had been purchased and 80% of the labor had been completed. He still acyually wanted the same amount for a fraction of the work. What a sham!

Now Kurt Robert will not return my phone calls. $75.00 for an estimate, then no return phone call, What a RIP OFF!!!
