A friend sent me an email with Verizon's new rates for prepaid. I purchased prepaid from this company before, and it was a total rip-off. I purchased around 30 dollars in airtime from recollection. With their 1.99 fee a day, it was gone in no time. This is 1.99 a day with no anytime minutes. You get free night (after 9:00pm), and mobile to mobile, but that's it. So you're pretty much paying for every minute at 25 cents a minute. Therefore, you'll get 400 minutes for 100 dollars a month. No to mention the fact that I worked for this company, and they were very unprofessional, and prided themselves on harassment being condoned in the company manual. One hr director stated that harassment based on skin color is not illegal (that must be news to the civil rights act of 1964). Maybe she meant it is not illegal if it is black on white harassment. One employee threatened to Bash my head in (another employee ran over to stop her tirade) and I was let go as they couldn't guarantee a safe work environment.
All of this and not to mention their service sucks. Dropped calls all the time (it's the network! LOL) billing 400 dollars in equipment I didn't purchase to my account, charging people entire early termination fee with 4 days left (as opposed to prorating like AT&T). And the unmitigated gaul to actually suggests that I keep their phone service at the end of my employment.
