Lefko Contracting will lie to you about the time it takes to finish a job and then hike up the price by thousands of dollars. If you do not pay, they sue you in court.

The court papers they file are ALL lies to get your money. Workmanship is VERY low quality. The workers that came to my house were all non English speaking mexicans-they either did not understand English or pretended not to understand, so they would not have to do the work correctly.

A remold job that was to take 2-3 months, was still not completed after 6 months. Workers showed up at first-then declined to 1 hour a day, 2-3 days a week. When you question the work they performed, Lefko will tell you tough luck, we did the work-no matter how poor of quality.

There is also some questions about insurance fraud. Ted, the owner cut several side deals with sub contractors and told them to charge more and give him a kickback-this happened twice in front of me and when I asked about it-he told me this was standard practice.

I now have to hire another contractor to fix his poor quality and find a place to live while the work is performed. Stay far away from Lefko contracting in the Phoenix area, unless you want poor quality work at top rates.
