I am so mad... Franklink Collection Services is the most unethical and unprofessional business I have ever heard of. If in fact they are a legitimate busioness. They contact my husband regarding a bill from BellSouth telecommunications from an account I closed that was in my maiden name. I am reporting this here because I read about several other people who expericenced the same thing. Long story short, they have threatened to garnish my wages, sue me and continue contacting me. I have put my request for an itemized statement of sais debt in writing to this so called company and was still threatened with a lawsuit if I did not make payment arrangemnts. I informed them that when I recieve the itemized statment I will either dispute it in writing or make arrangements to pay it if it a valid charge. They said they will provide the statement but begin proceedings of lawsuit anyway. These people are scum!!! I know my rights as a consumer and have reported them to the BBB, the Federal Trade Commission and here. Any suggestions???
